Fan’s paper showing that controlling the 2D SnO layers can have dramatic impact on Na ion batery performance. Fan developed a synthesis process i which he can precisely control the number of SnO atom sheets, and extend battery cycle life to more 1000 cycles. Record Na ion battery anode capacity was obtained for Sn-based compounds using Fan’s process. Congratulations, Fan.
